Apple said to sign lease near Empire State Building

applesoho.jpgApple Computers has leased a five-story building across the street from the Empire State Building where it plans to open its fourth New York City store, according to the Post.

Apple opened its first NYC location in Manhattan in SoHo, followed by a Staten Island store. The next to open will be at the GM Building on Fifth Avenue near Central Park, fronted by a new glass entry cube.

The newest Apple store would be located at 21 W. 34th St., map.
