Wired to open holiday gadget store in SoHo

Wired Magazine will open it's first retail- gallery-type store Nov. 18 in SoHo, allowing customers to try out more than 65 gadgets and place orders online that will be shipped later.

The Wired Store will be located at 160 Wooster St. (map,) at the corner of Houston Street.

During weekends, shoppers who make a purchase will also receive door-to-door shuttle services to their next destination free of charge in Wired's VW vehicles.

The store will be closed on Mondays and Tuesday. On weekdays, it opens at noon and 11 a.m. on weekends. The Wired Store will only be around for the holidays; the last day is Dec. 24.
