Britney Spears (and husband) Broadway bound?

sweetcharity.playbill.jpgBritney Spears and her husband Kevin Federline might be headed to Broadway to take a stab at "Sweet Charity," according to the celebrity gossip show Access Hollywood.

If true, Spears would take over the starring role from Christina Applegate, who was nominated for a Tony earlier this year for her part. The show opened in May despite talk of a cancellation after Applegate broke a bone in her foot during rehearsals.
