Subway fire at West 4th suspends C, B, V and W lines

A subway fire near Greenwich Village's W. 4th Street station is causing massive service disruptions this morning and seven firefighters suffered minor injuries, according to NY1.

The fire is now under control but no word on the cause.

Here is the list of current subway problems, according to the MTA's online service alert:

No service on the B, V, C or W.
The E is suspended in Manhattan and the A is suspended from 59th Sreet to Jay Street.
The D is running on the R line from DeKalb to 57th Street.
The F is running on the G line from Bergen to Queens Plaza.
The G is suspended from Court Square to 4th Avenue.

Noon update: The latest MTA advisory reports all lines are running again except that no trains are stopping at the West 4th Station, which impacts the A, B, C, D, E, F, and V lines.

Evening update: All service has returned to normal and the New York Times is reporting the fire was in a storage room.
