NewYorkology named a Top 10 NYC newsfeed

NewYorkology Travel has been chosen as one of the best newsfeeds about New York City by the web site Top 10 Sources.

Others on the Top 10 list are Manhattan User's Guide, Gothamist, Clublife, the Daily News, SliceNY, New York Times' dining and wine, Gridskipper for New York, NYC.photo.BLOG, and Power Plays from the Village Voice.

Top 10 Sources focuses on a different topic each day and searches the blogs, mainstream media and other sources to find the best RSS feeds.

RSS (Really Simply Syndication,) tends to be a free and easy way to monitor multiple sites at once, as it aggregates the newest stories from each of your favorite sources. (To start using RSS, see this short online guide that will walk you through the set up of an account with Bloglines, the feedreader favored by your NewYorkology editor.)Once you have a feedreader set up, you can add NewYorkology to your list with any of the buttons in the left column of this site.

One note to readers who are already getting their NewYorkology fix through a newsfeed: the one thing you don't get is the short daily summary that can found at the top of the home page. It sometimes contains upcoming events and news not mentioned elsewhere on the site, so do remember to click through to the main page and have a look.
