Open House New York is just a memory, save for all the new pictures that keep popping up all over the web. One of the finest collections is at Forgotten New York, where Kevin Walsh has new images of Washington Irving High School, the Union Square Ballroom at the W Hotel and Arnhold Hall at the New School.

The pictures posted were from the elevator area at the Chrysler Building, the only section of the lobby open during OHNY that isn't normally open for lookie-loos. Though the building's lobby was closed for awhile after Sept. 11, it is again open for browsing every weekday.
