Apple sours on Flatiron, plots Midtown store

Apple plans to open its next Manhattan store in a 20,000-square-foot space in the General Motors Building on Fifth Avenue, between 57th and 58th streets, according to the Post.

Earlier, Apple had considered a location near the Flatiron building, but that's reportedly not working out.

Apple currently has stores in SoHo and Staten Island.
