Otterness to design Macy's Humpty Dumpty balloon
Artist Tom Otterness, whose mischievous bronze sculptures are scattered around the city, has agreed to design a Humpty Dumpty balloon for Macy's 79th Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Humpty, captured in mid-fall, will be 33 feet tall, 20 feet long and 27 feet wide.
Two and a half million people are expected to attend this year's parade, which begins at 9 a.m. on Nov. 24.
