MoMA launches its own free audio guides for mp3

Finally jumping onto the iPod bandwagon, the Museum of Modern Art has launched its own series of free audio guides anyone can download free from the Web. The move comes after a group of college students launched a project to collect independent audio guides to MoMA, and Slate magazine produced its own free guide to the museum.

momahead.gifThe titles currently available for mp3 players from MoMA are Modern Voices, Modern Kids, Visual Descriptions, and Special Exhibitions programs. And this part is interesting as well:

After listening to MoMA Audio, we invite you to create your own audio program for your next visit to MoMA.

The Museum of Modern Art is located at 11 West 53rd St. Map.
