Lincoln Tunnel walk postponed to October 15

That once-in-a-lifetime walk through the Lincoln Tunnel has been postponed for one month, organizers said today.

The new date is Saturday, October 15.

The walk, open for free to anyone who wants to take part in the tunnel portion, is part of an AIDS awareness march to Washington. It turns out that many people who planned to take part in the full three-week march have been diverted with work on helping Katrina recovery efforts.
