Brooklyn Pizzeria - in New Orleans - needs NY stuff

pizzaoven.jpgThis one's especially for the Brooklyn readers in the audience.

Todd Duvio runs Brooklyn Pizzeria in New Orleans, (map,) or at least he used to before Katrina hit, deluging his business with storm waters that have left a gunky, moldy, rusty mess in its wake.

So he's got himself a loan to pay for the work to reopen, a mobile kitchen, and now he's got a website: Brooklyn Pizzeria Needs Help After Katrina. He's not asking for cash.

My place was decorated with all types of New York memorabilia I need all the help I can get, we put our life savings in this business. I could use any type of New York items, Brooklyn especially.. maps, photos, posters, t-shirts, hats etc.
Contacted by e-mail yesterday, Duvio said the best place to ship stuff is his home address: 3240 Roosevelt Blvd. Kenner, LA 70065.

(Thanks to M-E-L at Ishbadiddle for the tip.)
