An early peak at OpenHouse New York locations

If you're on the mailing list for OpenHouse New York, you know the group keeps sending out cruel little teasers about the normally-off-limits sites that will be open for one weekend only in October. The full list -- of 150 sites -- will be released Sept. 21.

Here's a peak at what has been leaked so far:

Ellis Island’s south side (never before open to the public)
Brooklyn Navy Yard
Chrysler Building's art deco lobby
St. Paul’s Church steeple
General Theological Seminary steeple
Prince George Hotel's Neo-Renaissance Ballroom
Architect's view overlooking the new New York Times Building
General Grant National Memorial's observation deck
Soldiers & Sailors Monument at Grand Army Plaza, observation deck
The Arsenal's observation deck
Jefferson Market Branch Library Tower spiral staircase
The Little Red Lighthouse
High Bridge Water Tower

The third annual OpenHouse New York will take place October 8 and 9. It's entirely free to the public. The group is still seeking volunteers to work at the sites during the event. The key perk is that volunteers receive priority access to as many OHNY they can reach throughout the weekend.

OHNY coincides with Architecture Week, which runs from Oct. 6 to 11.
