Met Museum opens rooftop martini bar
Did you know there's a martini bar open on Friday and Saturday evenings on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art?
You can sip a proper shaken-not-stirred while overlooking Central Park and taking in artist Sol LeWitt's "Splotches, Whirls and Twirls."
The martini bar opens at 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays. The roof is otherwise open through late fall from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays.
UPDATE: Before you go, read a few words from Guy Brighton, who calls the martini bar "one of the biggest disappointments I have had in my NYC drinking experience."
