New bus tour hits Brooklyn's pizza emporiums

An afternoon of pizza eating in Brooklyn has just gotten easier with the debut of A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour. It's a four-and-a-half-hour bus tour that costs $45 for adults, or $35 for kids, which includes pizza and soft drinks at each stop.

The tour will hit pizza places such as Grimaldi's and L&B Spumoni Gardens, and cover Brooklyn history from George Washington's Revolution-saving defeat at the Battle of Brooklyn to scenes from "Saturday Night Fever."

The tour runs each weekday departing at 11 a.m. from a spot just below Union Square in Manhattan. Tickets must be purchased online or by phone in advance.
