Pataki calls in National Guard to protect NYC transit

New York Governor George Pataki today called hundreds of National Guard troops to active duty to help protect New York City's transportation network in the wake of attacks on London's tranist system, according to Crain's.

(Editor's note: I've hesitated to post much about security measures in NYC after the London bombings because I've been out of the city on holiday. More thorough coverage after I return tomorrow. - Amy)
