TKTS has half-price tickets to Tony nominees

On the day after the Tony Award nominees were announced, tickets to many of the recipients-in-waiting could be found at half-price at the TKTS booth in Times Square.

A visit to the booth as the evening's offerings were posted at 2:45 p.m. revealed tickets on sale for Tony nominees such as "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", "Glengarry Glen Ross," "The Light in the Piazza" and "The Pillowman."

Others on sale for 50-percent off regular price included "On Golden Pond," "La Cage aux Folles," "A Streetcar Named Desire," "All Shook Up," "The Producers," "Hairspray," "Little Women" and "Fiddler on the Roof."
