Plaza hotel maid uniform on auction at eBay

plazamaidcostume.jpgWhile The Plaza holds its six-week clearance sale in preparation for a massive renovation of the legendary hotel, bargain shoppers and nostalgia buffs are shelling out $10 per person for the privilege of shopping in the shuttered hotel.

However, eBay continues to do brisk business in other goods from The Plaza, including a maid's outfit. Surely this could class up the blue film industry, or maybe someone's private film collection? Bidding begins at $49.

Or maybe you're the more serious type and would prefer a copy of the blueprints of the "authentic architectural floor plan" for the upcoming renovation.

Other quirky Plaza offerings on eBay:

A pair of brass doorknobs and plates
tip dish
XL employee shirt with Plaza logo
china coffee cup and saucer
brass buttons with Plaza logo
a blue, gilded chair
a single, lonely fork
