Design chosen for Coney Island parachute pavilion
Plans are moving ahead for a parachute pavilion at Coney Island, as a winning design has been selected for the project. From Brownstoner:
The design, with its web of lights rising 30 feet from the ground, is part of a larger push to rejuvenate the once-festive area. The 7,800-square-foot pavilion, rendered above, includes a restaurant, souvenir shop and exhibition space. More coverage at Archinect and A Daily Dose of Architecture.
