Trips123 to offer e-mail notice of transit snafus

Trips123.com, a $20 million, publicly financed online guide to several transit agencies in Tri-state area, will eventually charge $5.95 a month to commuters who want to receive notifications of delays in their regular routes, the New York Times reports. Notices will go out via e-mail, cellphone, pager, telephone or fax.
