70 Park Avenue -- too small for Warrior II; try tree

Even if you are a dog-owning yoga enthusiast -- apparently the target market for the 70 Park Avenue hotel -- you may want to consider the pros-and-cons of a visit, according to a rather passive/aggressive review in the New York Times.

Small, even by New York standards. It's hard to imagine anyone performing the Warrior II in the sliver of space offered between the wall and the bed in a typical room. Even the deluxe rooms - while comfy and well furnished - feel a bit cramped. It might be worth ponying up the extra money for a king premier room if you want to do any stretching. On the plus side, the rooms offer 42-inch flat-screen TV's (though some are so awkwardly placed it's hard to view them from the bed) as well as DVD and CD players. On the minus side, no need to ask for a wake-up call in the morning. The alarm clock in one of the neighboring rooms or the loud voices in the hallway - both clearly audible through the thin walls - will definitely do the trick.
