Critics love Billy Crystal's '700 Sundays'

Looks like the hard-to-get Broadway ticket of the season is for comedian Billy Crystal's one-man show "700 Sundays" which is getting rave reviews as it emerged from previews Sunday night. It's a "brave portrait of an eccentric, endearing family. It is hilarious and unexpectedly touching," the Daily News says. The Post calls him a "one-man phenomenon" and plenty of other good things can be found in Newsday, Playbill and elsewhere. The show is scheduled to run through March 6 and tickets ($100 for orchestra,)are already scarce with $10 million in advance sales already racked up, the New York Times reports. The Telecharge site suggests aiming for "weeknight performances in January and February."
