Squeezing in a visit to the Concorde
A Concorde fan writing for The Associated Press makes his way across the country to see all three of the retired planes in the United States, including the one at the Intrepid Museum docked in Midtown. He reports that only 1,500 people are allowed in the Concorde daily, "with a dozen people at a time permitted to walk through the narrow passenger cabin forward to the slightly claustrophobic cockpit. Waiting until the end of the time marked on the pass allowed a more leisurely look."
