How to (maybe) get tickets to the 'Daily Show'

You may already know it's not so easy to get free tickets to the tapings of "Saturday Night Live" and "The Late Show with David Letterman." I'm finding out it's no easy deal to get some for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" either. I started the e-mail process a week ago and have just received word I have a set of tickets for a date in April -- maybe.

Once we email out your tickets and ticket information we ask that you (again, you will get your email ticket and information two weeks prior to your booked show date)Email us back: we accept the first one hundred confirmations. If you respond and you are after our first one hundred confirmations, then we will get in contact with you and give you an opportunity to book for another show date.

We over book: to secure our seats.

Now in order to get on our line: you needed to confirm your email ticket (which is mentioned on the above line).

Show day: Once you get on our line, it is first come, first serve bases. Which means entry is not guaranteed. . You can not hold tickets for your party/ person past 5:30pm.
Or, you can try calling (212-586-2477) at 11:30 a.m. on the Friday of the week before you want to go to see if any tickets went unclaimed.
