Got a plan to revive Coney Island's Parachute Jump?

An international design competition is underway to find a design for a pavilion at the historic Parachute Jump at Coney Island, reports the Carroll Gardens/Cobble Hill Courier in Brooklyn. The Parachute Jump, built for the 1939 World's Fair, was later moved to the Coney Island boardwalk, where it operated until 1968. A winner will be selected in May.
