Central Park reduces car access

Joggers, skaters and other people who breathe should be pleased with the decision to further restrict the hours cars are able to use the east and west drives. Beginning Jan. 3, those drives will be open to cars only during 7 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m., according to NY1. The new rules will not affect the transverses at 65th, 79th, 85th and 97th Streets, the New York Times says.
