Airport ferry service could begin next year
There could be ferry service from Lower Manhattan to LaGuardia and JFK airports by the end of 2005, a Port Authority spokesman told the New York Times. The agency plans to award a contract to a ferry company "in the coming months" for the LaGuardia route, he said. Bids for JFK service are due later this month.
