Pricing a cab ride from LaGuardia to Manhattan

When you queue up for a cab at the airport, you always get a yellow sheet of paper that explains just a few basics about taxis in New York - like the fact that you should tip, and that you're responsible for any tolls. It also has a list of sample fares, and since I couldn't find it online, I thought I'd type up part of the list I was handed at LaGuardia Airport last week.

Sample taxi fares from LaGuardia Airport: Between terminals - $5 to $9; Upper Manhattan - $21 to $25; Midtown - $20 to $24; Lower Manhattan - $26 to $30; Downtown Brooklyn - $23 to $27; Shea Stadium - $9 to $13; JFK Airport - $25 to $29; Newark Airport - $63 to $67, plus $15 surcharge.

The Taxi and Limousine Commision has a web page with other information about rates. It also has some non-Manhattan sample taxi fares from JFK Airport. (A taxi from JFK to anywhere in Manhattan is a flat $45, plus tip and a possible bridge or tunnel toll.)
