Open House NY set for weekend of Oct. 9

Explore the secret spaces of New York during the second annual Open House New York. More than 45,000 people took part last year, according to the Christian Science Monitor. (Including me - I got onto the roof of the Grand Army Plaza and toured the Masons Lodge on 23rd.) This year's offerings will include the presidential suite of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and the shuttered Terminal 5 complex at JFK airport. How cool is that? The full list will be posted on the Open House NY website Sept. 21.
