Three pro stadiums in works for NYC

The National Basketball Association this week approved the sale of the New Jersey Nets to developer Bruce Ratner and his partners but they still face hurdles for their plan to move the team to Brooklyn. Ratner wants to build a new sporting complex at the site where Peter O'Malley planned to build a stadium for the Brooklyn Dodgers, but when the deal fell apart, he moved the storied team to L.A.

Brooklyn isn't the only borough with a possible new pro sports stadium in its future. The Yankees want a new baseball stadium in the Bronx and the New York Jets (who play in New Jersey) want to build a football stadium in Manhattan.
